I'm back. No point in trying to catch up on the last year and a half except to say that there's a new person in our family, I have more dogs than the city allows, a tiny lakefront lot in the sticks and all in all, a pretty peaceful life right now.
A friend and I are driving to Minnesota today because I'm a grandmother dork who wants to go to Knit Out and Crochet 2009 at the Mall of America. But really I just want to get the hell out of Dodge.
